The Tiger Moray Eel is a unique species to add as a bottom dweller to your aquarium. They look very similar to marine Moray Eels. The Tiger Moray Eel will grow to be 2 feet in length and will need enough space. This species can thrive in both freshwater and brackish conditions. In the wild, they are considered obligate predators and should be housed with tank mates larger than their mouth. Try feeding them freeze dried brine shrimp and other meaty foods. Because Tiger Moray Eels are famously picky eaters, try first offering live foods. Like marine Morays, the Tiger Moray are known escape artists and should have a tight-fitting lid to prevent it from ending up on your floor.
